FIBO Congress 2025: Malaika Mihambo opens with an exciting keynote speech

Entschlossen verweigert sich Savage, der Bar einen Namen zu geben. Stattdessen sind drei klassische Design-Symbole das Logo der Trinkstätte in Dalston: ein gelbes Quadrat, ein rotes Viereck, ein blauer Kreis. Am meisten wurmt den sympathischen Franzosen dabei, dass es kein Gelbes-Dreieck-Emoji gibt. Das erschwert auf komische Weise die Kommunikation. Der Instagram Account lautet: a_bar_with_shapes-for_a_name und anderenorts tauchen die Begriffe ‘Savage Bar’ oder eben ‚Bauhaus Bar‘ auf.

 

Für den BCB bringt Savage nun sein Barkonzept mit und mixt für uns mit Unterstützung von Russian Standard Vodka an der perfekten Bar dazu.

The countdown is on: FIBO opens its doors on 10 April and with it, the FIBO Congress 2025 kicks off. Highlights such as a keynote speech by Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo, sessions on Ayurvedic nutrition, digital mental trainers and new leadership concepts await you.

The FIBO Congress, which is organised and run by the Deutsche Hochschule für Prävention und Gesundheitsmanagement (DHfPG) and the the BSA Akademie under the management of FIBO, promises an impressive programme. Brand new this year: there will be a keynote speech for the first time. Malaika Mihambo, one of the best long jumpers in the world and 2021 Olympic champion, will provide insights into her career, her biggest challenges and her commitment to social projects in an exclusive interview with former triathlete Daniel Unger. Her versatility and deep sense of responsibility make her a role model - not only in sport, but also in life.

Diverse lecture programme

The high-calibre programme continues immediately after the opening. Over 80 expert presentations are on the programme from Thursday to Saturday, dealing with current topics from the fields of training, nutrition, mental coaching, corporate health management and management. The topics include effective strategies for overcoming performance pressure, anti-inflammatory nutrition, Fityurveda and how fitness trainers and athletes benefit from Ayurvedic nutrition, as well as specific training for blue light organisations.

Networking in a relaxed atmosphere

The FIBO Congress not only offers exciting presentations, but also the opportunity to network with other experts from the industry. To encourage dialogue, participants can look forward to an exclusive finger food buffet at the opening of the congress. New contacts can be made, valuable discussions held and ideas for the future of the fitness and health industry exchanged in a relaxed atmosphere.

Special event: Healthcare provision

The special event ‘New market potential: From leisure creator to healthcare partner’, which will take place on 10 April at Confex and will use presentations and a best-practice example to show how fitness companies are succeeding in positioning themselves in the healthcare sector by offering eligible exercise programmes. 

New Location: Confex 

For the first time, the FIBO Congress will take place in the new Confex Conference and Exhibition Centre at the Cologne Exhibition Centre. Congress participants can make exclusive use of fast lane access via the new Confex entrance, which is located near the South Entrance. After check-in, you cross the Confexhall and take the escalators or lifts in the North Foyer up to the 2nd floor, where the congress will take place.
