Admission policy
1. Validity of the Admission Policy
1.1 These admission conditions have been issued by RX Deutschland GmbH, AG Düsseldorf 28688, Johannstr. 1, 40476 Düsseldorf – also referred to as the Organiser. These admission conditions apply to the FIBO event (the "Event") held by the Organiser on the premises of Koelnmesse GmbH – also referred to as the Event site.
1.2 By entering the Event site during FIBO 2026, visitors and other third parties – collectively referred to as participants – agree to the validity of this admission guideline. Participants who do not agree to this admission guideline are prohibited from staying on the Event site during FIBO. The applicability of other regulations of the participants is excluded.
1.3 Participants may only enter the Event with a valid admission ticket. Attendance at the Event is only permitted at the times indicated on the Event website. Access to the exhibitor stands is only permitted under the supervision of the responsible stand staff.
1.4 Tickets and passes are non-transferable and may only be used by the same participant for the Event and on the respective Event days.
2. Eligibility, Registration, Clothing
2.1 Access to the Event is open to trade and business visitors (Thursday to Sunday) and public visitors (Saturday and Sunday) as well as exhibitors who are active in the subject area of the Event and/or in related industries and/or organisations or have a direct connection to them.
2.2 For participants who register on site, an additional fee may be charged for registration on site.
2.3 Participation in the Event requires appropriate clothing. The Organiser reserves the right to deny entry to the Event to participants with inappropriate clothing or to exclude them from the Event.
3. Data protection and disclosure of data
3.1 By attending the Event or submitting information to the Organiser in connection with the Event, visitors agree to the provisions of the Organiser's privacy policy https://privacy.rxglobal.com .
3.2 If, during the Event, Visitors decide to have their name badge scanned by an Exhibitor or Sponsor, they allow the Organisers to share their name and contact details with the Exhibitor or Sponsor, who may contact them in accordance with their privacy policy regarding their products or services.
3.3 If Visitors choose to participate in any session or special activity during the Event, their ID will be scanned at the entrance and their name and contact details will be shared by the Organiser with the Organiser/Exhibitor, Sponsor and/or Speakers, who may contact them in accordance with their Privacy Policy regarding their products or services related to that Event.
4. Badges
4.1 Badge holders may not allow their badges to be worn by other persons. In the event of violations, the badge holder and the person wearing the badge can be excluded from the Event without compensation and excluded from further participation in the Event. The right of the Organiser to assert further claims remains unaffected.
4.2 Badges lose their validity if they are altered in any way. Participants who have illegally obtained a badge will be excluded from the Event and will not be granted further access to the Event. The right of the Organiser to assert further claims remains unaffected.
4.3 Participants are obliged to carry a personal photo ID, such as an identity card, passport or driver's license with photo, during the entire Event for identity verification and to show it at the request of the Organiser. If the participant does not show such an ID at the request of the Organiser, he or she may be excluded from the Event without compensation and may be denied further access to the Event.
5. Technology, protection and security
5.1 The Organiser is not liable for technical problems arising from the Participant's use of its own technology in connection with the Event. Claims against the Organiser in this context are excluded.
5.2 The safety of the participants and the personnel employed at the Event is our highest priority. Participants are obliged to follow all applicable safety regulations, instructions and/or guidelines of the Organiser, the operator of the exhibition center and the authorities. Further details on safety and security at the Event will be posted on the Event website operated by the Organiser at https://www.fibo.com/germany/en-gb.html#. Participants are required to familiarize themselves with the safety and security information before participating in the Event.
5.3 As the nature of the Event may cause increased noise levels within the venue, you should consider whether you wish to enter the area in question (including the children accompanying you) and, if necessary, take precautions in relation to appropriate hearing protection, such as noise-cancelling headphones and/or earplugs, to mitigate the impact of increased noise levels.
6. Personal belongings
6.1 Upon entering the Event, all participants may be subject to a security check. The Organiser reserves the right to deny entry to the Event to participants due to the carrying of certain items. In particular, the carrying of weapons and weapon-like objects such as pepper spray, irritant gas and knives is prohibited.
6.2 Bringing personal belongings to the Event is at the Participant's own risk, who is responsible for the protection of these items at all times and must ensure that they do not pose a danger to third parties. The Organiser is not liable for the loss or damage of a participant's personal belongings during the Event.
6.3 Personal belongings of the participants may not be left unattended during the Event or on the Event site. Otherwise, the Organiser is expressly entitled to remove such items and dispose of them at its own discretion. Personal belongings left on the Event site after the end of the Event are considered to have been left behind and will be treated accordingly by the Organiser.
7. Age Restrictions
7.1 Children and young people under the age of 15 may only be permitted entry where accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the entire Event. Young people who are 15 but not yet 18 years old may only participate in the Event with the permission of their parents or guardians.
7.2 Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the participation of their children and adolescents in the Event.
7.3 It is the sole responsibility of the legal guardians to accompany and monitor the suitability of the activities in which the child or young person participates during the Event, including consumption, regardless of age restrictions or the permission of the Organiser.
8. Vehicles, service animals
8.1 Vehicles may only enter the exhibition grounds with special permission.
8.2 With the exception of guide dogs or other service animals, no animals are allowed at the Event
9. Event Guidelines
9.1 All visitors to the Event are obliged to comply with these access guidelines and to behave accordingly. All visitors are also required to (i) comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, standards and/or court/regulatory orders; (ii) any applicable immigration, visa and/or work permit requirements for foreign nationals; and (iii) any additional Event Rules, regulations, codes of conduct, policies and/or procedures posted at the Event Venue or Event Website or otherwise made available to Participants by the Promoter and as may be updated by the Promoter from time to time (collectively, the "Event Guidelines") ). By participating in the Event, the Participant confirms that he/she has read, undertakes to comply with the Event Guidelines and will act accordingly.
9.2 The Event Guidelines apply to all participants of the Event, including but not limited to exhibitors, visitors, speakers, delegates, buyers, guests, professionals, media representatives, employees, workers, contractors, volunteers, security personnel and/or other participants. Each participant of the Event is solely responsible for his or her own conduct during participation in the Event or any part of the Event. Guardians are solely responsible for the conduct of minors participating in the Event or any part of the Event.
10. Prohibited Activities
10.1 Participants may not engage in election advertising, leaflet campaigns, demonstrations, offensive behaviour, wearing offensive clothing or any other activity that could disrupt the Event.
10.2 Entrants are prohibited from engaging in, directly or indirectly instigating or otherwise engaging in the following activities:
• Directly or indirectly disrupt or allow the course of the Event to be disrupted, in particular by blocking aisles, entrances or exits, running, breaking through barriers, excessive noise, disregarding time limits, failing to follow instructions or prohibitions of the Organiser, the operator of the exhibition centre or the authorities, or by preventing the undisturbed participation of third parties in the Event;
• Post or distribute any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or knowingly untrue, likely to violate the privacy or privacy rights of any third party, or that is otherwise infringing, harassing, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable;
• distribute printed or recorded material of any kind, unless the Promoter has given its written consent;
• Impersonate any person or entity or engage in any similar fraudulent activity;
• Sell, offer for sale, display, advertise or otherwise engage in any commercial activity without the written consent of the Promoter;
• Collect, collect or attempt to collect personal information, email addresses or other contact information from other Event attendees without their express consent;
• defame, harass, abuse, threaten, or defraud other Event attendees;
• interfere with or circumvent the security, integrity or proper conduct of the Event;
• To enter areas of the Event to which the participant is not eligible to participate;
• access a digital platform associated with the Event using a robot, spider, scraper, crawler or other automated means;
• Participate in the Event for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations, including, but not limited to, violations of intellectual property laws, other proprietary rights, data protection and privacy;
• consume cigarettes, e-cigarettes, heaters, marijuana or other substances at the Event;
• Consuming or possessing alcohol at the Event outside the designated areas, with persons under the age of 18 not allowed to consume alcohol during the Event on the exhibition grounds;
• Consuming, selling, possessing or distributing illegal drugs or other illegal substances at the Event;
• Assaults, theft, fights, violence of any kind, including verbal threats of violence, possession and/or use of the following items in connection with the Event:
- Firearms, ammunition, knives or weapons of any kind
- Objects or toys that resemble firearms, ammunition, knives, or weapons
- Self-defense or restraint devices
- Fireworks or other explosive or flammable objects
- Recreational equipment such as drones, remote-controlled toys, skateboards, scooters, inline skates or shoes with built-in wheels
- Balloons of any kind
11. Press
11.1 Press passes for the Event are reserved for publishers, editors, journalists, photographers, radio and television stations and web bloggers associated with the industry of the Event.
11.2 At the request of the Promoter, members of the press must complete an application form and provide proof of their accreditation, such as a copy of a recognised press or media card, a business card, a letter from an editor or an official website address with a link to a press release to prove their position as a member of the press.
11.3 Press applications from advertising professionals and media representatives will not be accepted.
12. Photography and Recording
12.1 Participants are prohibited from taking photos or other audio or video recordings, regardless of the medium, at the Event without the written consent of the organizer. Each entrant authorizes such photo and video recordings and permits the Promoter to use the participant's image, likeness and voice for archival and promotional purposes in all media without incurring any liability, compensation or attribution to the entrant.
12.2 In order for the Organiser to be able to decide on the appropriate approval, the Participant must submit in writing all details of planned film or sound recordings at the Event at least two weeks before the start of the Event.
13. Program of Events
13.1 The opening hours, schedules, floor plans, exhibitors, vendors, guests and speakers of the Event are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
13.2 The Participant shall not be entitled to any advertised panel discussions, special events, training, courses, autograph sessions, photo opportunities, performances, film screenings, webinars, networking events and other activities announced by the Promoter or any third party to actually take place or to be given the opportunity to participate in them.
13.3 Access to certain areas or content of the Event may be subject to an additional and separate fee and/or may be reserved only for certain participants selected by the Promoter at its sole discretion. Access to such areas will then only be available to participants authorised by the Organiser and at the times set by the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to deny entry, exclude or remove unauthorised participants from the Event.
13.4 The participant is solely responsible for arriving on time for the Event and for meeting certain times or deadlines. If the participant does not participate in any part of the Event at a certain time and is subsequently unable to attend all or part of the Event, the Organiser is not obliged to refund any fees already paid. The Promoter is not responsible for any delays and/or waiting times associated with the Event or any particular content or areas of the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to change the schedule of the Event or certain content or areas of the Event to accommodate unexpected events, or even cancel the Event.
14. Cancellation and postponement of the Event
14.1 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event or any part thereof at its sole discretion with or without prior notice. The participants are not entitled to assert claims for postponement of the Event. In the event of cancellation of the Event without a valid reason or force majeure, the liability of the Organiser is limited exclusively to the participation fee already paid by the participant for the Event.
14.2 The Organiser is entitled to postpone or cancel the Event, in particular in the event of force majeure; Pandemics and epidemics are also considered force majeure. Participants are not entitled to assert claims against the Organiser in the event of cancellation or postponement of the Event due to force majeure.
15. Non-refundable and non-transferable policy
15.1 Once purchased, tickets, access to platforms or any other item or object (whether tangible or intangible) are non-refundable and non-transferable. They may not be reproduced, resold or exchanged under any circumstances.
16. Reservation of Rights
16.1 The Promoter reserves the right to exclude, ban or remove from the Event or Venue any person who, in its reasonable opinion, is or may be in breach of the provisions of this Access Policy, or at its sole discretion. The Promoter also reserves the right to exclude, ban or remove any person from the Event or the Venue if it reasonably believes that such person is barred from participating in the Event due to applicable sanctions, laws or regulations. The Promoter's decision is final and the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any costs.
17. Security
17.1 The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend or terminate the Event or any part thereof or the participation of any participant if the Promoter determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that the Event or any part thereof has been or may be manipulated or disrupted in any way due to causes beyond the control of the Promoter, that could undermine or impair the security, integrity or feasibility of the Event or any part thereof. Although the Organiser strives to ensure the safety and integrity of the Event, the Organiser will not be liable in any way to the Participants and will have no further financial obligations to the Participants if the Event or any part of it is terminated for reasons beyond the control of the Organiser or if there are any changes in date, time or location.
17.2 In addition, the Promoter is not responsible for the actions of other Event participants in connection with the Event, including but not limited to attempts by Participants to circumvent or otherwise compromise the security, integrity or proper conduct of the Event. Participants' interactions with third parties, including but not limited to guests and other participants in connection with the Event, are solely between the participant and that third party. The entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs, expenses or liabilities incurred as a result of any such interactions with any third party. The Promoter is also not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of networks or lines, servers or providers, equipment or software beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to injury or damage to the Participant or to the Participant's property resulting from participation in the Event.
18. Limitation of Liability
18.1 The Organiser, its legal representatives or vicarious agents are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. Liability for simple negligence is excluded, unless the damages concern injury to life, limb or health or damage resulting from the breach of an essential contractual obligation by the Organiser, its legal representatives or vicarious agents. In the event of a breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability shall be limited to compensation for foreseeable, typically occurring damage, unless it is damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health.
18.2 The Organiser is not liable for the conduct of the Event participants. The Organiser is also not liable for any damage caused to the participants by participating in competitions organized by third parties, by testing or consuming exhibits of third parties or by similar activities.
19. Final provisions
19.1 Oral ancillary agreements to these Terms and Conditions of Participation are invalid. The Organiser may amend the terms of these Terms and Conditions without notice to the Participants by posting the amended Terms and Conditions on the Event Website. The continued presence and/or participation of a participant in the Event is considered acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
19.2 Should any provision of this Authorisation Directive be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Authorisation Directive. In this case, the invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
19.3 This Admission Policy is exclusively subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
19.4 The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising out of or in connection with this Admission Policy is Düsseldorf in Germany.
19.5 Only the German version of this English Admission Policy is authoritative.
