FIBO 2026: AI Drives the Longevity & Health Boom

Bar ohne Namen
FIBO 2026, the world’s leading trade show for fitness, wellness, and health, marks the industry’s realignment toward data-driven health and longevity models. While traditional strength training once dominated, digital applications, connected systems, and AI-powered analytics are now shaping market development. FIBO positions itself as an international platform and a driving force behind a new understanding of fitness—as part of an integrated health ecosystem that connects prevention, performance, and long-term quality of life.
“FIBO 2026 is the world’s leading trade show, uniquely bringing together the fitness and health industry for exchange, expertise, and networking. Whether established studios, innovative start-ups, or investors—industry stakeholders meet here to share knowledge and develop collaborations. The goal is to actively facilitate exchange and strengthen networks between studios, start-ups, and investors who are shaping the future of data-driven, integrated fitness and health solutions,” says Silke Frank, Director of FIBO.
Innovation as a Business Model: The Confex Hall
With the Confex Hall, the trade show establishes its strategic centerpiece for tech and AI innovation as well as forward-looking thinking in the fitness and health industry. At the heart of the hall is the Future Forum, featuring a four-day program of panels, best-practice examples, and start-up pitches. Discussions focus not only on new business models but also on key industry questions: Longevity—between hype and evidence: what truly contributes to a long, healthy life? What trends will shape the future? And how can AI and the right content help attract more customers?
FIBO collaborates with partners such as EuropeActive, Vincenzo Lardinelli from FlitFit, and the BSA Academy. Topics range from automation in the fitness sector and the concept of the longevity athlete to forward-looking visions such as “Fitness 2050 – Holodeck meets Digital Twin.” Here, studio operators and trainers learn how to future-proof their offerings. On the weekend, the program also targets athletes and tech-savvy visitors.
Technology You Can Experience: The Tech Valley
Directly connected is the Tech Valley, where innovations become tangible. Exhibits include connected fitness equipment, wearables, and platforms for personalized health services. The Confex Hall serves as a central business hub where established providers, tech leaders, and start-ups present their solutions for connected fitness, digital health, and data-driven business models. At the same time, the platform offers space for collaborations, investments, and international partnerships.
Providers such as Virtuagym, ABC Fitness, and Sport Alliance focus on integrated all-in-one solutions that combine member management, payment processing, CRM, and coaching in a single platform. Meanwhile, companies like bsport focus on optimizing member experience and marketing automation, particularly supporting boutique studios in growth and member retention. In addition, digital coaching and performance solutions—such as those from selfloops—as well as hybrid training formats with app and content integration are gaining importance. Business intelligence and KPI-based studio management are increasingly emphasized by specialized providers like Fitness KPI.
Overall, there is a clear trend toward more connected, automated, and user-centered fitness ecosystems. Providers are responding to growing demand for integrated health solutions—from preventive offerings in hotels to corporate health programs. Companies such as Body Control, Enhance Fitness LLC, Tortija GmbH & Co. KG, Tablewise GmbH, Diagonal Inkasso GmbH, Rolla Holdco, Gosch Consulting, Orbit 4, Club Planner BV, BRP Systems AB, and many others are also contributing to shaping the future of the industry as exhibitors in the Confex Hall.
Meeting Point for Market and Media
With its combination of exhibition, conference program, and networking formats, FIBO reinforces its position as a central marketplace for the industry.
