Bar ohne Namen
Cologne, 12 April 2025 – At FIBO, the world’s leading trade fair for health, fitness and wellness held in Cologne, RX Germany once again celebrated exceptional women in the industry with the RX Female Award. This year’s honours in the categories “Youngster” and “Role Model” went to Frances Weber and Anna Martin-Niedecken – two remarkable individuals setting new benchmarks through innovation and commitment.
Frances Weber: Breaking New Ground in Sports Science
The “Youngster” award was presented to Frances Weber, co-founder of FEMNETC. Her vision: to create sports and nutrition concepts tailored to the female cycle – grounded in science and designed for real-life application.
Her personal journey – from childhood sports enthusiast, through losing her period due to intense training, to becoming an expert in cycle-based coaching – deeply influences her work. Weber translates complex scientific research into practical training strategies and is pioneering efforts to close the gender data gap in sport through her workshops and publications.
Anna Martin-Niedecken: Innovation Meets Interdisciplinary Thinking
Anna Martin-Niedecken, CEO and founder of Sphery AG, was recognised as this year’s “Role Model” for her innovative spirit and interdisciplinary approach.
With her creation, the ExerCube – a concept that combines gaming with physical and cognitive training – she has developed a completely new experience that stimulates both body and mind. Her academic career at Zurich University of the Arts, paired with her entrepreneurial vision, positions her as a thought leader in the digital health space. Martin-Niedecken’s work not only pushes technological boundaries but also drives social change, inspiring a new generation to rethink movement.
