Massive programme for trainers at FIBO
Piloxing, Pound, Jumping Fitness, Hummer Sport and BECO Beermann: if you need to upgrade your workout and training methods, you should seriously consider attending FIBO in Cologne. From 4 to 7 April, the exhibitors in Hall 4.1 will show you just how to do that in educational sessions and hands-on classes. They’ll be ready to assist and advice trainers with tips on theory and practice.
ZUMBA®, too, is offering a special trainer training, which is aimed at demonstrating how to lead a ZUMBA® class and how to internalise the basic steps. Supporting exercises included! ZUMBA® education specialist Marta Fromoso will also be onsite. Anyone who completes the training will get their license at the end of the class, along with access to practical tools that make successful learning even faster. They’ll also have an opportunity to sign up to receive choreos and music monthly, plus ongoing support. The participation fee of €275.10 includes FIBO admission on Sunday. Starting a new business as a trainer
The New Business Area in Hall 5.2 at FIBO is the first destination for startup entrepreneurs. Staged in cooperation with the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control, the German Franchise Association, IST-Studieninstitut and the AXA Startup Center, it’s the perfect place to get in touch with successful startups, franchisors and startup consultants. In various presentations, trainers will learn about startup-related topics such as marketing, taxes, and sales and marketing. In addition, the DSSV will host two specific “Startup” seminars each day on Thursday and Saturday.
FIBO CAMPUS: Continuing education courses for trainers
Earn points, acquire licenses and work out with top international presenters, all while expanding your business and nutrition horizons: from Thursday to Sunday, the CAMPUS will feature a comprehensive programme for trainers. Simpler and more flexible than ever before, trainers will be able to put together their highly personalised class schedule at the concurrent congress. A total of 13 thematic tracks will be dedicated to functional and group training, nutrition counselling, and the fusion of therapy and training. Check out the programme here: www.fibo.com/campus.
Training and continuing education
From degree programmes to training and continuing education: IST-Studieninstitut’s offerings are geared towards trainers, as well. They can visit Halls 8, 5.2 and 10.1 to learn about various career opportunities. The institute is the right partner to talk to about B and A licenses for trainers interested in fitness, sports nutrition, CrossWorkout and many other focus areas as well as questions revolving around specialisation and modular qualifications.
