Visitor FAQs

FIBO, the Leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Health, originally running from 8 – 11 April 2021, in Cologne, Germany, will now take place from 24 – 27 June. This move takes current developments on the Covid-19 front into consideration. The postponed new dates of FIBO improve planning certainty for exhibitors and visitors.

Below you find important information about the postponement and your visitor ticket. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us personally. Please understand that processing may take some time due to the lockdown and Christmas holidays.

1. I have already bought a ticket for FIBO 2021. Does my ticket remain valid for FIBO in June?

If you have already purchased a ticket for FIBO 2021 (8 to 11, April, 2021), you can use it to visit FIBO 2021 at the new date of 24 to 27, June, 2021 in Cologne.

2. I have already bought a ticket for FIBO 2020. Does my ticket remain valid for FIBO in June?

If you had not yet cancelled your ticket for FIBO 2020, your ticket will remain valid for the new date in June. However, due to the legal Corona Protection Ordinance of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), every ticket holder must re-register in the current ticket shop. This does not only affect the ticket purchaser, but every ticket holder. This process serves a possible traceability. You will be contacted by our ticket shop service provider soon.

3. Can I return my already purchased ticket for FIBO 2020/2021?

If you have already purchased a ticket for FIBO 2020 or FIBO 2021, you can use it to visit FIBO 2021 (24 to 27, June, 2021) in Cologne or have the full purchase price refunded. Please use the refund form for the refund. The deadline for this is 30th of September, 2021.

4. How many tickets may I buy as a trade or private visitor for FIBO 2021?

To ensure traceability in accordance with the Corona Protection Ordinance of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), only one ticket may be purchased per registration. We have to require the private contact details of trade visitors in addition to the company data. However, these will be deleted by us after 4 weeks. When purchasing tickets, you have to decide in advance on which day you would like to visit the fair. This way we can keep to the permissible visitor limit per day and adjust our planning accordingly.

5. What about already booked and hotel accommodation?

Please contact the respective tour operator and hotel directly.

6. Please contact the respective tour operator and hotel directly.

We are currently planning to occupy nine halls at the Cologne exhibition centre. All the familiar FIBO theme areas in the fields of fitness, wellness and health will be covered. In 2021, we will place a strong focus on future topics such as digitalization, new concepts, prevention and health. There will be regular updates on the trade show and current industry topics at www.fibo.com. We are in constant exchange with Koelnmesse and the responsible authorities in order to be able to offer a successful, exciting but also safe FIBO 2021.

7. What does the hygiene & safety concept of FIBO 2021 look like?

FIBO starts with comprehensive hygiene and safety measures. The measures include modern guidance systems, larger areas, an adapted number of visitors and gapless contact tracking. We are thus putting your safety at the centre. You can find all the measures here: https://www.fibo.com/en/FIBO/1829/

8. When am I considered a trade visitor?

You’re considered a trade visitor if you work in the fitness, wellness or healthcare sector. You must be able to verify your occupation.
