Next stop Singapore: Next year will see the first FIBO Southeast Asia (FIBO SEA) kicks off. From 24 to 26 September 2020, it will bring together brands, manufacturers, distributors, licensors, intermediaries, buyers and trainers from the Southeast Asia and international fitness industry. Hosting the event will be the megacity, Singapore, the international finance centre and one of the world’s most visited cities.

Sun, sea, art, culture – and fitness: FIBO USA could not have picked a better place. Miami Beach, which attracts fitness enthusiasts from all over the world with such hotspots as its Muscle Beach, where locals exercise at a plethora of fitness clubs and companies invest in a healthy lifestyle, will host the second FIBO USA from 17 to 19 October. In a study, Miami was just recently declared the “healthiest destination in America” with its diverse fitness clubs, spas, yoga and Pilates studios, wholefood stores and vegan restaurants. The venue for FIBO USA is the newly designed Miami Beach Convention Center located at the heart of South Beach.

International know-how, global trends and a fast-growing national fitness industry: the perfect mixture to be found right at FIBO CHINA. The leading fitness trade show on the Asian market is set to also outperform itself again in 2019. In excess of 450 brands will be presented in Shanghai from 22 to 25 August. They will meet with buyers from fitness clubs and sports venues but also from sectors like rehabilitation and nursing care as well as public welfare institutes, hotels, import and export companies, sport articles stores, importers, trainers and fitness enthusiasts.

Final Report: More international flair – rising attendance: 145,000 visitors from 133 nations come to Cologne
“It’s the business, stupid” – business that brings the worldwide fitness industry to FIBO in Cologne. This is how a club operator from Miami summed it up and he could not have described the situation more aptly: registering trade visitors from 133 nations (previous year: 121) FIBO impressively underscored its status as the biggest and most important meeting point for the industry worldwide where trends are presented and where in excess of EUR two billion are invested. “Here’s the beef,” says the man from Florida with a grin.

EuropeActive hosted the 6th edition of its European Health and Fitness Forum (EHFF) on Wednesday, April 3rd 2019 in Cologne at the Congress Centre Nord, Exhibition Centre. This year’s focus was on Marketing and Sales, key issues to the fitness market in the last decade, with the sector growing from 36 to an impressive 60 million members – a remarkable 67% growth between 2007 and 2017.

„Keep going, guys“ – Exhibitors and visitors agreed at the end of the premiere: FIBO USA was the start of a new show in North America that has what it takes to assert itself permanently. And so numerous familiar faces of the international fitness industry could be seen in the halls. Around 2,350 trade fair and conference participants registered for the first FIBO USA, which took place from 5 to 8 December in the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.

It’s on its way to becoming the leading meeting of the South African fitness industry: FIBO Global Fitness Africa, which was held for the second time this fall, was a complete success. From 26 to 28 October, about 5,600 visitors and more than 100 exhibitors came to the top event of the fitness industry in South Africa. Designed as a combined summit and festival, the event for the first time addressed trade and private visitors alike.
