Final Report: European Health & Fitness Forum 2018 addresses human capital in the European fitness sector
The 5th annual event brought together top experts from different sectors of the industry and over 400 delegates from 34 countries to discuss human capital in the European fitness sector. The European Health and Fitness Forum, the leading conference for the European fitness sector, concluded on Wednesday in the Congress Center Nord at the exhibition centre in Cologne.

FIBO – the acronym stands for the current fitness boom of the entire industry and its trade show, with the world’s largest trade show for fitness, wellness and health continuing its success trajectory and setting new records: more exhibitors, more internationality and, once again, more than 143,000 visitors.

Scoring points by providing competent answers is a great way to build a solid customer loyalty foundation – be it at the gym or as a personal trainer. From traditional martial arts to self-defence for the whole family: FIBO’s Fighting Fit area delivers the pure joy of combat sports. From 12 to 15 April, fitness trainers, operators of martial arts schools and fitness studios, and interested private visitors are invited to attend join-in events, workshops and trial courses to learn about the latest trends and witness exciting live competitions. Newly added to FIBO in 2018, the Fighting Fit area will be located in Hall 4.1 of the Exhibition Centre in Cologne.

Demand for prevention training and health offerings is on the rise. This offers great potential for fitness clubs and physiotherapists. FIBO 2018 will explain how to tap into this potential from 12 to 15 April. Club operators interested in offering preventive training will find just as many inspirations at the trade show in Cologne as will physiotherapists seeking to establish training courses.
