FAQs: B2B concept of FIBO
From 30 May onwards, trade shows will be allowed to take place in North Rhine-Westphalia again. This was announced by the state government at the beginning of May following the talks between the Chancellor and the Minister Presidents.
With this stipulation, the basis for trade fairs is created to continue the preparations for FIBO in October with the necessary planning security. Up to now, a general ban on major events was in force in Germany until at least August 31. Against this background, major events for the autumn had already been cancelled or postponed due to the lack of planning security and preparation time.
Accordingly, FIBO will be held in October exclusively as a trade show without private visitors. Private visitors will not have access to the exhibition grounds. This is why FIBO in October concentrates on topics, event formats and exhibition areas that are especially relevant for trade visitors. Sunday is not an event day in October.
We all wished that there would be a big reunion with the entire FIBO community in October after the relocation of FIBO. But unfortunately, this cannot happen. Because in the course of the lockdown, all major events have been banned. In the meantime, the state government has exempted trade fairs from this ban from 30 May onwards. This means that we can hold FIBO under strict conditions, but only in the form of a trade show to which only legitimate trade visitors have access. A painful decision, but unfortunately our hands are currently tied.
There are two possibilities. The tickets remain valid for FIBO 2021 (08 to 11. April 2021) in Cologne. No further registration is required. The second possibility is to return tickets. The ticket price will then be refunded. The deadline for this is 31.05.2021. Please understand that the refund may take some time and will not be made overnight. Please use our refund form.
Yes, we also offer trade visitors both options. You can either cancel your ticket or use it for FIBO 2021 (08 to 11. April 2021). Please use the refund form for refunds.
Please contact the respective tour operator and hotel directly.
Yes, we are working on developing a "FIBO@home", which will bring FIBO home as a digital offer, even though we know that the real FIBO feeling can only be experienced live and up close. But with videos of the exhibitors, with live streams, interviews and workouts on demand, we are bringing some of this into your own four walls. We will keep you informed on a regular basis.
You’re considered a trade visitor if you work in the fitness, wellness or healthcare sector. You must be able to verify your occupation.
