New key visual focalises the diversity of the industry
It is true stories from the fitness industry that form the basis for the new FIBO campaign. Such as that of Melanie from Hermannsburg near Celle, who has run a fitness club for 17 years, of Christa from Krefeld, who aged 68 regularly exercises, or Katrin, a self-employed physiotherapist from the Thuringian town of Apolda. A total of eight representatives of the industry become brand ambassadors for an exciting, important and versatile industry. To all of them fitness plays an important role – be it on a professional or personal level.
“It is important to us to paint an authentic picture of FIBO featuring real people from the sector that our exhibitors and visitors can relate to,” says FIBO boss Silke Frank commenting on the new key visual, and adds: “We felt very honoured to have so many great people in front of our camera and thank all the participants and the team of photographers for their committed efforts and gym80 for the great venue and support.”
The eight faces of FIBO 2020 were selected from a total of 925 applicants. The casting was done at the trade show this year. Taking part are club operator and bodybuilder Benjamin, student and fitness addict Helina, fitness expert and athlete Maik, exercise enthusiast and senior citizen Christa, physiotherapist Katrin, club operator Melanie, nutrition coach and BGM project manager Dennis as well as federal policeman Florian who pursues a wide variety of sports from cross-fit and biking to climbing.
“I am closely attached to the trade show since I have visited it every year since 2010, this is why participation is very emotional for me,” says Dennis, project manager at Pretergo, and goes on to say: “At FIBO you always learn about something new and, above all, you can establish good new contacts. Apart from the business aspect, however, it is always fun to be here time and again for personal reasons.” Like Dennis, Melanie was also “recruited” at the trade show and spontaneously took part in the casting. She has been a FIBO visitor for many years now. “We invest in our studio here,” says Melanie. “You always have to stay on the ball today so that you can assert yourself against you competitors.” Fitness enthusiast Christa attends FIBO for strictly personal reasons. A senior citizen she keeps fit especially by dancing. “I found the photoshoot great. This is something really special. I am excited to see the photos and look forward to seeing all the other participants again at FIBO next year,” delights Christa.
Photoshoot at gym80
The shoot took place at the showroom and the production halls of gym80 in Gelsenkirchen. “We were delighted to accompany the FIBO team for three days. Numerous settings in the gym80 showroom, production and outdoors allowed us to come up with cool stagings for the FIBO 2020 top shots. We enjoyed the cooperation and look forward to the next successful project and, of course, to FIBO 2020,” says the team at gym80. The photos were taken by Iron Bodies photographer Frank Martini. The results will be published in autumn this year.
