FAQ exhibitors

1. Who is the appropriate sales contact for me?

Hall 5.1 and 8: Veronique Völlmecke

2. When is the registration deadline for FIBO 2020?

The registration deadline for FIBO 2020 is 1 February 2020.

In individual cases, registrations may also be accepted after the deadline.

3. Are exhibition stands subject to a minimum size?

The minimum size for a stand at FIBO is 15 sqm.

The minimum size for a pavilion in the FIBO Shopping Mall in hall 4.2 is 6 sqm.

4. Besides the stand rental fee, what contractually agreed upon costs will I incur?

In addition to the rental fee for the stand space, additional fees will be incurred for the selected marketing package (promotional materials and listings in the print and online catalogue).

Standard Marketing Package (obligatory): € 610,00
Includes exhibitor passes (depending on stand size), basic entry in the exhibition catalogue, entry at www.fibo.com, company logo in the exhibitor profile, advertising materials: stickers, posters, visitor brochures

Advanced Marketing Package: € 1.130,00
Includes all the services of the Standard Marketing Package + online: logo exhibitor list, 2 product presentations; exhibition catalogue: logo in alphabetical listing

Superior Marketing package: € 2.530,00
Includes all the services of the Standard Marketing Package + the services of the Advanced Marketing Package + logo will be highlighted in the pocket floor plan and in the floor plans at the event

The following additional fees will be charged:

Exhibitor insurance per company: € 255,00
AUMA dues:  € 0,60/m²
Flat-rate energy fee: € 5,40/m²

Corner fee
Exhibitors must pay to the organiser a corner fee of € 250,00 per open stand corner.

7. Where can I place all orders for my exhibition stand (e.g. water and power connections; suspensions from the hall ceiling etc.)?

Use our website www.reedexpo-service.com to access our Online Service Tool, the ideal support tool for all your trade fair preparations.

We’ve dispatched your login information to the e-mail you provided when you registered. You may need to check your spam folder.

Once you’ve logged into the Service Tool, select the menu option “Order forms” for a complete listing of services and information you need to exhibit at the trade fair and to facilitate planning and execution, along with contacts, phone numbers and key dates.

For exhibitor passes and parking tickets, navigate to the “Organisation” section.

Download general information about the trade fair and the exhibition centre by selecting the menu option “Trade fair information”.

8. How many free exhibitor passes will our company get, and how do I get them?

Exhibitor passes will be allocated based on stand size, as outlined below. They can only be ordered through the OSC (Online Service Center).

After ordering, passes must be downloaded in the OSC download area and printed!

0 - 20 m² 2 passes
21 – 40 m² 3 passes
41 – 60 m² 4 passes
61 – 80 m²  5 passes
81 – 100 m² 6 passes
101 – 120 m² 7 passes
121 – 140 m² 8 passes
141 – 160 m² 9 passes
161 – 180 m² 10 passes
181 – 200 m² 11 passes
201 – 250 m² 12 passes
> 250 m² per additional 50 m² or part thereof 1 pass


 





 

 
 
 


 

Additional exhibitor passes may be ordered for € 49.00 each using the Online Service Tool. You will be invoiced for those after FIBO.

9. What are the setup and dismantling times?

Early setup - subject to a fee (€950 plus VAT per exhibitor, per hall, per day)

Please order in advance using the Online Service Tool.

Thursday, 26 March 2020:  7:00 am – 8:00 pm
Friday, 27 March 2020:       7:00 am – 8:00 pm

Regular setup times

Saturday, 28 March 2020:  7:00 am – 12:00 am
Sunday, 29 March 2020:    12:00 am – 12:00 am
Monday, 30 March 2020:    12:00 am – 12:00 am
Tuesday, 31 March 2020:    12:00 am – 12:00 am
Wednesday, 1 April 2020:   12:00 am –   4:00 pm

Upon conclusion of the official setup period on Wednesday, 1 April 2020, no additional work will be permitted! Exhibition hall hallways must be cleared by this time. Vehicles must exit the halls by 3:00 pm; minor work at the stand is permitted until 4:00 pm.

Dismantling times

Monday, 6 April 2020:     12:00 am – 12:00 am

10. What are the rules for deposit-based vehicle entry during setup and during the trade fair?

Hall Supervisor

Please note that Koelnmesse is not staffing a service office. Instead, a dedicated hall supervisor is available in each hall to help with any technical questions or issues. Located at the entrances to each hall, their offices will be staffed during setup, exhibition times and dismantling.
