In particular, the innovation must clearly define the health-promoting or preventive effect and benefits for the user.

The most important criteria are:

  • Possibility of individualisation and differentiation in application/use
  • Orientation towards lifestyle risks
  • Exact description of the intended functional change
  •  Identification of included measures of behavioural change/modification
  • Scientific evidence/proof of the intended change
